about

In Disfigured Grace: Opens with weird squawks and mutations that flux and ionise, to give way to a vast, swelling, apocalyptic tummult, dense Xenakis like tonalities, with an overdose of echo and reverb effects. Slithy Groves: Opens with processed voice, a Dadaist dismemberment of Lewis Carroll, into Ligeti-esque vocals, into outer-space abstract Hawkwind cum Pink Floyd mutating into early Kluster and grungy guitars. The Organism Consumes Itself: Opens as a serene gliss of intermodulations, into mire of folding and crunching sounds, out of which a huge chorale aum's and ahh's, decaying into an icy tundra populated by swirling decaying symphonic strings and rasping electronic tonalities, vaguely evoking early electronic Stockhausen.

Expect references/dedications to Nurse With Wound, Krautrock, etc. Endgame were very busy on the session front for almost a decade, and continue to play live together occasionally. The archive is vast. ... more
